Unlike his school rugby, which was a bit tame, Panthers has toughened him up and boosted his confidence. He now faces bigger opponents head-on and isn't afraid to hold his ground. What we love most about Panthers is its inclusive vibe. It's like a mini Rainbow Nation, welcoming everyone with open arms. The club management is approachable, ensuring fairness for all players.   We've had our share of wins and losses, but what matters most is the sense of belonging we've found here. Panthers isn't just a club; it's a community within the Original Edenvale Rugby Club. We're pumped for another season of growth and grit on the field!

My journey with this exceptional club has been nothing short of incredible. He went from not knowing and understanding anything about Rugby to having such a passion for the game.    The whole Panthers club is absolutely amazing. My son has been there for less than a year, and the excitement for practice is never a fail. The coaches are absolutely amazing and give it their all. The support structure behind every single boy that plays for this club is truly incredible.    As a parent it’s amazing to see all these young boys on the field, building confidence, friendships and a love for the game, but above all the laughter and fun they have on the field be it at practice or an official game, is a building block for their future to be much brighter.    My son went from I want to be a YouTuber to  I want to be a professional Rugby 🏉 Player! 

From being couch potatoes and addicted to their cellphones, especially during Covid times - to being fanatical about rugby!  My eldest grandson in SA doesn't want to miss a practice, eats healthily (although he has an insatiable appetite!!) and has built up a strong bond and rapport with his peers. He has grown in confidence and tries to emulate Eben Etzebeth  as his hero. Despite having been concussed last year, he has fought back tenaciously and  I can only encourage other parents and grandparents to be supportive of your (grand-) children's aspirations. Viva, Panthers, viva!!!
